Job Summary CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our well-established hospital-employed group. About the Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care within a regional healthcare leader, consistently recognized as the #1 Best Regional Hospital in Chattanooga by U.S. News & World Report for 11 consecutive years, and holding a consistent 'A' Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group. Schedule: 7 on / 7 off shifts (11am - 11pm), Tuesday to Monday. Focus: Inpatient care for adults, no Peds, OB, or Trauma. Support: Reasonable census, closed ICUs staffed by Intensivists. Key responsibilities: Diagnose, treat, prescribe, order and interpret test results, and manage discharge planning for inpatients. Compensation: Competitive base salary, commencement bonus, quality incentive bonus, and longevity bonus. Additional perk: No state income tax. Job Requirements MD or DO degree. Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine. Ability to obtain an active medical license and DEA for Tennessee and Georgia. AHA BLS certification.
