Branch Sales Manager

Job Summary:Compensation: $86,000 - $120,000 + commissionLocation: Branch Sales Manager to oversee both Arlington (Seattle North) and Kent (Seattle South) branches. Candidate preferably homebased out of Kent location.The Branch Sales Manager is tasked with identifying prospective customers, fostering and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships, and driving both sales and profitability for the branch. Success in this role involves developing and training a cohesive team that embodies and supports IDI's culture and Core Values, ensuring the branch operates efficiently and effectively.Responsibilities/Duties:Sales Growth and Customer Retention:Primary responsibility is the profitable growth of IDI sales, focusing on both top-line and bottom-line growthRetain current customers while developing new ones, ensuring profitable growth and excellent customer serviceBranch Oversight and Employee Management:Oversee branch operations, including safety, inventories, turnover, and employee retentionHeavy emphasis on development of all branch personnel, including Sales, DC Manager, Drivers, and operations staff, with a focus on long-term retention and fostering a customer service cultureSafety and Compliance:Ensure all safety protocols are followed and in full compliance with corporate directivesDeploy training programs for safety, customer service, and product knowledgeFinancial Management:Conduct annual sales forecasting and budgeting, as well as monthly P&L reviews with the Regional DirectorTraining and Supervision:Assure proper training of all staff and provide direct supervision of the DC Manager and Sales RepresentativesInventory Management:Manage inventory, including branch inventory turn, weekly, monthly, and annual inventory counts, and limit dead inventoryCorporate Liaison:Act as a liaison between the branch and corporate office, fully executing all corporate directivesBranch Presence and Additional Duties:Maintain an active role in the overall health and strength of the branch officePerform other duties as beneficial to IDILeadership Competencies:Leads SelfCommunicates Effectively & CandidlyDrives for ResultsDemonstrates AccountabilityTakes InitiativeCollaboratesLeads OthersSelects Top TalentDevelops OthersThinks StrategicallyBuilds a Strong CultureQualifications/Skills:Sales and Business Development:Proven results in the sale of building materialsAbility to develop new businessAbility to meet deadlines and achieve sales goalsRelationship Building:Ability to build long-lasting relationships with vendors, customers, and sales staffPlanning and Organizational Skills:Strong planning, time management, and organizational skillsStrategic planning, sales management, negotiation, and vendor management experienceTechnical Proficiency:Proficient in using Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelAttention to Detail:Detail-orientedAbility to focus on individual and team goalsTravel:Ability to travel less than 10% of the timeEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent related experience5+ years in sales, with a preference for experience in insulation or building materialsOne of the core values at IDI is Family, and it shows in our benefits!
