In this role, you will set up, operate, and perform basic programming on machines used in the production of hollow metal doors. Welders to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This role requires advanced welding and fitting experience, including the ability to read blueprints, fit components, and complete high-quality welds to specification.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on structural steel and metal componentsRead and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawingsFit, align, and assemble metal parts prior to weldingEnsure welds meet quality standards and required specificationsUse measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and levels for accurate fittingPerform grinding, cutting, and finishing as neededInspect completed welds for defects and ensure proper penetration and strengthMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentQualifications3+ years of MIG welding and fitting experienceStrong blueprint reading and weld symbol knowledgeAbility to fit and fabricate without supervisionExperience working with structural steel or heavy fabricationAbility to pass a weld test (if required)Strong attention to detail and qualityAbility to perform consistent, quality welds in a production environmentBasic blueprint reading preferredWillingness to learn fitting and fabrication skillsMust Pass a measurement test.Ability to pass a weld testSchedule & PayShift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-Hour Shifts Saturday & Sunday OvertimeOvertime: Saturday & Sunday.Pay: $17.00/hr-DOEBenefits (through CloudRay)Weekly pay Health insurance Incentives and performance-based bonuses Referral bonuses Temp-to-hire career growth potentialLocation AdvantageJob is in Alexandria, AL 36250, commutable from Anniston, Weaver, Saks & Jacksonville.Apply today – send your resume and start tomorrow!Referral BonusRefer a Friend & Earn $200!
