Investment Banking Analyst / Associate

The analyst/associate will act as a key member of the team, directly working with senior investment banking professionals on engagements. The analyst/associate will earn significant responsibility and will gain invaluable transaction experience, client exposure, negotiation skills and training. The analyst/associate will typically contribute to the following:Preparation of materials for and participation in business development opportunitiesConstruct fully integrated, detailed financial models to support M&A transactions, FP&A engagements or business valuationsPrepare buyer lists and draft marketing materials for M&A transactions including teasers, information memoranda and management presentations, among othersPopulate and manage online data rooms and facilitate the confirmatory due diligence processInteraction with clients, potential buyers and targetsQualifications. Qualified candidates typically possess a combination of the following attributes:Strong undergraduate or graduate academic performance (3.5 GPA or better)1-4 years of prior experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, accounting, consulting or corporate financeAnalytically oriented with significant financial modeling experienceSuperior attention to detail and organizationStrong writing skills, as evidenced by writing samplesAbility to work a demanding but collaborative and team-oriented scheduleAbility to learn quickly, employ resourcefulness, problem solve and multitask with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentHighly motivated, with a strong desire to be the "best of the best"Flexibility to travel when neededExcellent verbal and written communication skills
