Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager – Data Center ConstructionSAVI EHS – Hillsboro, OR (On-site)Compensation$45.00 – $50.00 per hour 40–50 hours per week Per diem available for qualified travelersEmployment TypeFull-Time | W-2 Position Duration: Approximately 3 Months (Short-Term Assignment)Position OverviewSAVI EHS is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to support a hyperscale data center construction project in Hillsboro, Oregon. This is a short-term assignment (approximately 3 months) with an immediate need, supporting active construction operations on site.The EHS Manager will oversee daily safety operations, working closely with project leadership and trade partners to ensure all activities remain compliant with OSHA standards, client requirements, and site-specific safety plans. This role may require night shift coverage, depending on project needs.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance for all on-site construction activitiesConduct documented daily EHS inspections, audits, and safety observationsMonitor trade partner activities to ensure adherence to approved safety plans and proceduresParticipate in and review Daily Hazard Analyses (DHAs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actionsSupport high-risk operations including cranes, rigging, fall protection, electrical work, and LOTODeliver site-specific safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training as neededTrack safety metrics and support continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with project leadership to promote an injury-free workplace and strong safety cultureMinimum Qualifications5+ years of construction EHS experience (data center or mission-critical experience preferred)Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction StandardsExperience working with multiple subcontractors and trade partners on active job sitesOSHA 30 required; OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management systemsBCSP certifications such as CHST, ASP, or CSP are preferred
