Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) - UNC Health Rockingham

About the Opportunity Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of inpatient experience and clinical support on Hospitalist team Average daily census of 28-32 (total) Specialty and Subspecialty support includes Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, Orthopedics Physician will average 14 Day Shifts Per Month (12 hours, 7 am-7 pm) Open ICU with support from Registered Nurses, Cardiac Technicians and Respiratory Therapists Education Requirements ? Meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine. Professional Experience Requirements ? Prefer prior hospitalist experience. Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements ? Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English. REASONING ABILITY High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
