Sr. Sourcing & Supply Chain Project Manager

Position SummaryHillenbrand is looking for a Sr. Sourcing & Supply Chain Project Manager to join our team remotely. As a Sr. Sourcing & Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be responsible for program management across all Global Supply Management (GSM) projects and initiatives. You will ensure project management team objectives are coordinated and executed according to defined project plans and GSM leadership objectives.Work You’ll DoDevelop and manage the activities within sourcing workstream, with guidance from the business, center led sourcing category owners, global operations, business development.Project scope includes, but not limited to spend, supply continuity, risk mitigation, make vs. buy, inventory, working capital, and supplier diversity and performance.Manage non-sourcing projects such as tool implementation, process improvement where required.Responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of an entire project through budgeting, resource planning, sourcing suppliers, and planning the project release.Sets project milestones, provides stakeholder feedback, and provides regular status updates. Track team and project metrics.Critical focus on supply continuity and growth capacity for existing and incoming businesses (identify risks and mitigate risks in supply and value capture).Generate and manage projects relative to supporting new product development and design to value – including, but not limited to coordination of all project-specific goods and services.Support development and execution of integration project plans for sourcing.Conduct category and spend analysis across the enterprise for opportunities, while taking into consideration footprint, vertical integration, end to end supply network for localization and de-risking.Lead the supplier selection process through management of formal RFP, RFQ and RFI processes.Determine, oversee, and perform the negotiation and contract management of large-scale, enterprise-wide volume purchase agreements.Responsible for creation of TCO (total cost of ownership) value to the organization through a combination of productivity, working capital, synergies, reduced risk, improved supplier lead times, etc. Support SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operation, Planning) ensuring clarity in demand and gap closure in supply.Establish and foster strategic supplier relationships that deliver cost reduction (through negotiations, clean sheet techniques, continuous improvement workshops, etc.), supply assurance, quality improvement and innovation.TeamIf you are passionate about leveraging data science to optimize global supply chains and are excited to work with a dynamic team, you should join Hillenbrand, Inc.
