Position OverviewThe Meat Wrapper handles meat products by weighing, wrapping, pricing, and labeling them. They stock shelves, maintain cleanliness, and provide attentive, courteous customer service.ResponsibilitiesAdhere to company policies for processing, preparation, and packaging of meat products.Ensure correct and clearly marked pricing.Follow safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines.Maintain proper case conditions by cleaning, stocking, and rotating products.Deliver excellent customer service and assist store staff as directed.Operate equipment such as wrapping machines, scales, and case cutters.Qualifications & SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.1-2 years retail or meat department experience preferred.Knowledge of different meat cuts and basic math skills.Physical ability to stand, lift up to 100 lbs, and perform tasks requiring good vision, balance, and sensory perception.Ability to operate relevant machinery and tools.This role involves working in store or warehouse environments with temperature variations and requires physical stamina and attention to detail.
