Medical Assistant
Job Summary: We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialties in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. A minimum of two years of experience is required. Responsibilities:Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.Administer medications and monitor patient responses.Provide skilled nursing care in various clinical settings including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room.Manage cases and coordinate hospice care for patients with serious illnesses.Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Required Skills & Certifications:Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.Minimum of two years hospital, home health, or hospice care experience.Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Driver's license, car insurance, and reliable automobile for field work. Preferred Skills & Certifications:Experience in specialized nursing areas such as ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room.Additional certifications relevant to specialty areas. Special Considerations:Ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.May require on-call availability depending on clinical setting.Work may involve hospice and end-of-life care environments. Scheduling:Shift types and schedules vary by clinical area and patient care needs.May include day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.Shift assignments determined by department and staffing requirements.
