Working under the supervision of Controller, the Accounting Supervisor will perform finance functions such as prepare financial reports, perform research and analysis, as well as accounting functions such as maintaining the general ledger, performing account reconciliations, assist with audit preparations, and carrying out other accounting and finance duties that support the accounting team.
Job responsibilities include:
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy.
Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
Supervise resident billing cycles.
Ensure invoices are accurate and timely.
Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations.
Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses.
Oversee invoice processing, coding, and payment approvals.
Serves as backup to other Accounting functions inclusive of AP/AR, Medical Billing, and Purchasing.
When required, represents the Accounting department in various committees at Paradise Valley Estates.
Qualifications
5 - 7 years of Finance and Accounting experience with progressively expanded roles.
Experience in senior living and working with non-profits (preferred).
Experience with Corporate Performance Management or similar planning, budgeting, and reporting system as well as capital planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Advanced Excel skills (required).
