Speech Language Pathologist Location: Tucson, AZ Agency: Towne U.S. LLC Pay: $2,179 per week Shift Information: 5 days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient Rehabilitation We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an inpatient rehabilitation team providing care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, or complex medical diagnoses. This role offers the opportunity to deliver intensive, goal-oriented therapy in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The SLP will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients’ communication, cognitive, and swallowing (dysphagia) needs, developing individualized plans of care to improve functional outcomes and prepare patients for safe discharge. Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and effective communication skills are essential. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive SLP evaluations including speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under evidence-based guidelines Provide skilled therapy for patients with neurological, cognitive, and swallowing deficits Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies for communication and safe swallowing Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary team Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in EMR Collaborate closely with PT, OT, nursing, and case management to ensure coordinated care Maintain productivity while delivering patient-centered therapy Ideal Candidate: Active SLP license in practicing state Inpatient rehab or acute care experience preferred Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills Comfortable working in a team-oriented, high-intensity rehabilitation environment This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about neurorehabilitation, enjoys intensive, measurable outcomes, and thrives in a collaborative team setting.
