What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide technical leadership in power system studies and analysis
Manage tasks and resources related to power-system analysis and report creation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project deliverables
Coach and mentor less-experienced staff to foster their development
Communicate study results and findings effectively to client representatives
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in power delivery or electrical engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Proficient in power system analysis software, including ETAP, SKM Power Tools, and PSCAD
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
15+ years of experience in consulting engineering, electric utility, or industrial settings
Knowledge of renewable energy projects, substation design, and SCADA systems
Familiarity with NERC standards and lightning/switching overvoltage studies using PSCAD
Experience with additional software tools such as MathCAD or GE Enervista
