In this role, you will be responsible for operating press equipment to produce high-quality tile products, ensuring materials are prepared, processed, and inspected according to specifications.This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment that requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with machinery, performing repetitive tasks, and maintaining high standards in a manufacturing setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction OperationsOperate press machinery to produce tile products according to specificationsSet up and program equipment for raw material mixing and processingWeigh, mix, and distribute materials into molds accuratelyPrepare molds, apply finishing materials, and remove finished productsTrim, inspect, and stack finished goods according to quality standardsLabel and track inventory using appropriate documentationQuality AssurancePerform ongoing visual inspections to identify defectsMeasure and verify product thickness and dimensionsEnsure all products meet company quality standards throughout the production processEquipment & MaintenanceConduct pre-shift equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenanceClean and maintain presses, mixers, and surrounding work areasReport equipment issues promptly to maintenance and leadershipAdditional DutiesCross-train in other production areas to support operational needsEnter production data and review work orders using basic computer systemsParticipate in safety meetings and follow all safety protocolsAssist in developing SOPs and production documentation as neededQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required (or equivalent manufacturing experience)Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishBasic math skills and understanding of units of measureComfortable using computers for data entry and production tracking (ERP experience a plus)Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to adapt to changing production demands and prioritiesWillingness to work overtime as neededWhat We Offer YouCompetitive medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance coverage401k with a company matchPTO Hours are accrued from Day 1Tuition reimbursementOpportunities for development and internal promotionsTwo minute walk to eco-friendly public transportation from rabbittransitSometimes the best jobs get missed because people think they don’t have what it takes.
