We are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth, transparent, and enjoyable experience from start to finish.The OpportunityEssig Pools & Pavers is seeking an entrepreneurial, highly motivated Sales Manager to lead and grow our pool construction sales efforts across Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. This is a true player-coach role. The right person will actively manage and close their own leads while also leading the broader sales process, supporting other salespeople, improving follow-up discipline, and helping build a scalable, high-performing sales organization.This is a full-time, independent contractor (1099) position with significant earning potential through base compensation plus commission and performance-based incentives. This is a hybrid, field-based position with an office located in Miramar, Florida. Regular local travel throughout Broward and Miami-Dade Counties is required for in-home consultations, client meetings, and occasional office collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Sales & Lead OwnershipManage and close your own pool construction leads from initial inquiry through signed contract.Qualify prospects, schedule meetings, conduct consultations, present proposals, follow up consistently, and drive deals to close.Maintain a strong personal close rate and represent the company professionally with homeowners, builders, and referral partners.Sales Leadership & Pipeline ManagementLead regular sales pipeline meetings with sales representatives, sales coordinators, and leadership.Own the sales process from lead intake through qualification, appointment setting, proposal development, follow-up, and close.Coach sales team members, support onboarding where needed, and work collaboratively to improve follow-up discipline, conversion rates, and close rates.CRM, Lead Generation & Sales ProcessOwn and manage the sales pipeline within HubSpot CRM, ensuring leads, appointments, proposals, follow-ups, and closed deals are tracked accurately and consistently.Work closely with company leadership and third-party marketing partners to improve lead generation, lead quality, and conversion performance.Understand and contribute to paid lead strategy, especially Google and Meta platforms, using CRM insights, data analysis, and emerging AI-driven search trends to drive stronger sales outcomes.What You BringWe are looking for a hands-on sales leader with direct experience in the pool construction industry. You understand how to sell to residential homeowners, manage a pipeline from first contact through signed contract, and thrive in a performance-driven environment.This person should be both strategic and execution-oriented, someone who can lead a team while also personally driving revenue and closing deals. You should demonstrate urgency, strong follow-up discipline, professionalism, and a desire to help build something exceptional.Experience working with homebuilders, commercial pools, or referral partnerships is a plus.QualificationsDirect experience in pool construction sales strongly preferred.Proven ability to sell residential pools and close high-value projects.Experience managing, coaching, or supporting sales representatives preferred.Strong understanding of lead progression, including new leads, qualified leads, scheduled meetings, proposals, follow-up, and closed deals.Experience with HubSpot or another CRM, with the discipline to maintain accurate and actionable pipeline data.Experience with Pool Studio, Buildertrend, or similar pool design/construction software preferred.Familiarity with pool estimating, proposal development, or pricing strategy is a strong plus.Understanding of Google and Meta paid lead generation is a plus.Comfortable in a commission-based, entrepreneurial role with meaningful upside.Knowledge of the Broward and Miami-Dade pool construction market is a plus.Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Ability to visit active construction sites, walk uneven terrain, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.CompensationOur compensation structure is designed to reward performance and entrepreneurial success.
