Computer Hardware Integration Technician

Job Summary: Our company is seeking a highly skilled Computing Infrastructure Hardware Integration Technician with experience in assembling mechanical assemblies, handling rack-based computing equipment such as servers, switches, routers, and firewalls, and experience in cabling, cable management, and following and producing technical procedures and assembly aids.Responsibilities:Assemble and integrate mechanical assemblies for rack-based computing equipmentHandle rack-based computing equipment such as servers, switches, routers, and firewallsInstall, route, and label cables for proper cable managementFollow technical procedures and assembly aids for equipment installation and testingIdentify and resolve hardware and software issues related to computing infrastructureTest and validate hardware components and software applicationsCollaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure project goals and objectives are metProvide technical support and troubleshooting to end-users as neededMaintain accurate records of hardware inventory, installations, and maintenance activitiesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings Requirements:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in assembling mechanical assemblies and handling rack-based computing equipmentExperience in cabling and cable managementAbility to read and follow technical procedures and assembly aidsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentKnowledge of computer hardware and software componentsFamiliarity with industry-standard cabling and networking protocolsAbility to lift and move computing equipment weighing up to 50 pounds This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled Computing Infrastructure Hardware Integration Technician to join a dynamic and innovative team.
