Apply via Dice today!Job Title: Senior IT PMO ManagerLocation-RemoteJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior IT PMO Manager to lead and oversee the Project Management Office (PMO) for IT initiatives. This role is responsible for establishing project governance, ensuring successful delivery of IT programs, and aligning projects with organizational strategy.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the IT PMO, ensuring effective project governance and standardsDefine and implement project management methodologies, processes, and best practicesOversee planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and programsMonitor project performance, budgets, timelines, and resource allocationProvide leadership and guidance to project managers and teamsManage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple projectsEnsure alignment of IT projects with business objectives and strategyPrepare and present status reports to senior leadership and stakeholdersDrive continuous improvement in project delivery and PMO processesEnsure compliance with organizational policies and industry standardsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related fieldStrong experience in IT project/program management and PMO leadershipIn-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale IT projectsExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesExperience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow)Preferred Qualifications:PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certificationExperience in portfolio management and strategic planningFamiliarity with financial management and budgeting for IT projectsKnowledge of governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT)Experience Level:10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in PMO or leadership roles
