Job DescriptionTitle : Warehouse WorkerLocation : Charlotte, NCDuration : 06+Months Contract (Cont. to Hire) Shift Timings : : (07:00:AM - 04:00:PM) (Mon To Fri)Job Description: Responsible for the processing and destruction of all material delivered to the shred plant. Job activities include, but are not limited to, sorting and shredding material by grade, complying with the standards of 5S Workplace Program to promote consistency with tasks, workplace layouts and workflow; compliance with all safety and security policies, proper handling of equipment and protection of customer information; demonstrate behaviors consistent with our core values.Physical Requirements: Manufacturing type environment at times requiring dust masks and/or earplugs; ability to pick up heavy material (70lbs to 100lbs) and/or push as much as 300lbs wheeled containers; ability to operate PIT (and other equipment) as licensed. Work gloves required when handling and sorting materials for destruction. Safety glasses required. Protective footwear is required and shall meet ASTM F2413-11 “Standard Specification for Performance Requirements for Protective (Safety) Toe Cap Footwear” and have a slip-resistant rating designated as “Better or Best”. Temperatures on production floor can sometimes be equivalent to external temperatures.
