DescriptionITS Summer 2026 TEMPPays $20.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE (Salary ranges provided are based on relevant experience and skill set)Location: Pine Street Inn – Boston, MA (HQ at and satellite offices, all within BostonMetro) Reports To: Sr. Network Admin/ Network AdministratorOverviewPine Street Inn is seeking a motivated IT Support Intern for a three-to-six-month term to assist with keytechnology initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in system upgrades, Microsoft 365transitions, and end-user support within a dynamic nonprofit environment.Key Project: Technology Upgrade Initiative: Assist with upgrading workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11Help transition staff from Microsoft Office 2016 to Office 365Work primarily at our headquarters, with periodic travel to satellite offices, independently oralongside IT staffRequirementsResponsibilities:Prepare and deploy new workstations with updated OS and softwareSupport basic troubleshooting during and after transitionsUnplug, transport, and reconnect IT equipment (monitors, desktops, cables, docking stations, etc.)Document completed moves and deploymentsFollow guidance from IT staff and Operations ManagerQualifications:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Information Technology,Computer Science, or a related fieldPrior experience in a technical support or desktop deployment role (including school or volunteerbased projects) preferredFamiliarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office productsMust possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record, as required by Pine Street Inn.Ability to lift and carry computer equipment (up to 40 lbs)Strong problem-solving and communication skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a teamBenefits Gain hands-on experience with real-world IT infrastructure and upgrade projectsExposure to enterprise IT operations in a mission-driven nonprofit environmentOpportunity to work with and learn from experienced IT professionals
