We're seeking a Test Engineer (Journeyman) to support a space weather satellite mission operations program , focused on integration and validation of mission-critical systems. Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.Support integration and testing of satellite mission operations systems Execute test plans across telemetry & command (T&C), data operations, and mission applications Perform trending and analysis to validate system performance and identify anomalies Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using modern testing frameworks Utilize test management tools to track test cases, defects, and overall system quality Collaborate with software, systems, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery 4+ years of experience in test engineering or integration testing ~ Foundational knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices ~ Experience with telemetry & command systems, data operations, or mission-based applications ~ Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cucumber and Cypress ~ Basic programming or scripting experience (e.g., JavaScript, Python)Familiarity with integration xhyhwjd testing in mission-critical or real-time environments Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD pipelines for automated testing Hands-on role working across integration, testing, and system validation We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
