Precision CNC Machine Operator

About the Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to produce precision components, ensuring they meet stringent quality and production standards. In this role, you will develop efficient machining programs and set up machines for production runs, contributing to our commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Your expertise in CNC programming and operation will be crucial to our success. Responsibilities Develop and refine CNC programs using Mazatrol and CAM software to optimize machining processes. Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and materials are in place. Conduct thorough part inspections using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and adherence to GD&T requirements. Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Contribute to process improvement by recommending enhancements to tooling, fixturing, and machining strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and production data. Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and leadership to resolve machining issues and improve overall production. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining. Proficiency in programming CNC machines. Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T principles. Hands-on experience with machine setups and prove-outs. Comprehensive knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and cutting parameters. Familiarity with precision measuring equipment. Preferred Skills Experience with Mazak machines and Mazatrol controls. Proficiency in using CAM software such as Mastercam. Experience machining parts with tight tolerances. Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing environments.
