Company DescriptionAmazing House of Hope Autism Research & Development Center, Inc. is focused on advancing autism support through evidence-based, compassionate care for individuals and families.We are developing a residential treatment model in the Dallas–Fort Worth area for young adults with autism who experience severe emotional and behavioral challenges, an area that remains significantly underserved.Our approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of behavior through therapeutic intervention, vocational training, life skills development, and comprehensive family and community support, with the goal of fostering independence, stability, and a meaningful quality of life.Role Description (Volunteer Board Member)This is a volunteer Board Member role. Individuals do not need to be located in the Dallas–Fort Worth area to serve.Board Members provide strategic guidance and support the organization’s growth at a foundational stage. Responsibilities include participating in board meetings, contributing to fundraising and partnerships, offering insight based on professional experience, and supporting overall organizational development and compliance.Board Members also serve as ambassadors, helping to expand awareness and build meaningful connections.Who We’re Looking ForWe welcome individuals from diverse professional backgrounds. You do not need to meet every qualification listed.We are especially interested in those with experience or interest in: Healthcare or behavioral health Nonprofit leadership or program development Finance, operations, or business strategy Legal or compliance Fundraising or community engagementMost importantly, we are seeking individuals who are: Passionate about supporting individuals with autism Willing to contribute time and expertise Committed to helping build something meaningful from the ground upPrior board experience is helpful but not required.
