The district is seeking a tutor for the Tutoring Program on an hourly but consistent basis at the Thayer Public Library. The district is looking for tutors who can provide academic support, across a range of subjects and levels, to high school and middle school students being educated outside of the general education setting. The tutor will work with the full-time teachers to provide students with support in completing their general education coursework in an alternative setting. Candidates should have a relevant DESE teaching license. This position is ideal for retired teachers or teachers who took an extended leave of absence and want to re-enter teaching.
