We are excited to announce an opening for a Dental Assistant to deliver full-time services at the Dental Clinic located in Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.Job OverviewThis full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to a vital healthcare service for military families while enjoying competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in various phases of restorative, prosthodontic, oral surgical, endodontic, or periodontal treatments.Schedule patient appointments and gather essential medical histories.Sterilize instruments and prepare surgical trays for procedures.Provide chairside assistance to the dentist and perform intra-oral procedures as directed.Take dental X-rays, maintaining the necessary equipment in good working condition.Educate patients on post-treatment care and effective dental hygiene practices.Maintain accurate records related to dental activities and patient information.Required SkillsCertification in radiography as mandated.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.Proficient in various dental assisting tasks and excellent communication skills with both patients and team members.QualificationsCertificate or Associate Degree in dental assisting from an accredited program.Minimum of one year of full-time experience as a Dental Assistant within the last three years.Compensation And BenefitsEmployment Status: Full-Time | 40 hours per week.Compensation: \(20.23 - \)24.00/hr + an additional $4.57/hour for Health & Welfare.Sign-On Bonus!Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance.Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.401(k) plan available.At Matrix Providers, we believe in fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
