Building Working Foreman/ Superintendent

Kinsley is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Foreman/Superintendent to join our growing building team in North East, MD. As a general contractor, the Foreman/Superintendent is responsible for directing and coordinating activity associated with the construction of the project in accordance with established schedules, budgets, plans, specifications, and procedures. A successful candidate will lead by example, motivate crew members, and efficiently manage the job. Typical Responsibilities/Essential Functions Effectively lead and manage Kinsley's self-perform crews through a hands-on approach. Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications Plan, schedule, and utilize necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the job Receive material deliveries and maintain on-site inventory Responsible for completing daily time sheets and maintaining daily logs Use tools and operate equipment in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures when necessary Comprehend and follow blueprints and specifications to meet needs of the project. Perform other related duties as necessary. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience Demonstrate a working knowledge of all aspects of building construction Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and specifications is preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and a DOT physical.
