The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax regulations, a keen eye for detail, and a strategic mindset. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related matters, ensuring compliance, and optimizing tax strategies to support the company's financial goals.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance.Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, staying updated on changes and advising management on potential impacts.Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support in their development.Conduct tax research and provide recommendations on tax planning, policies, and procedures.Review and analyze financial statements for tax implications and opportunities.Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions and disclosures for financial reporting.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in AccountingCPA/EA, requiredMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in taxKnowledge and familiarity of Farm Tax Guide, highly preferredStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategicallyExcellent communication and leadership skillsProficiency with Lacert tax softwareProficiency in tax preparation software, Quickbooks and Microsoft Office SuiteHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detailBenefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonusesComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunitiesFlexible work arrangements
