Accountant / Junior Controller (Financial Reporting & Close Support)Location: Plano, TX — 100% OnsiteType: Full-Time, Direct HireAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly detail‑oriented Accountant / Junior Controller to support daily accounting operations and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial reporting. This role is hands‑on and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment and enjoys working “in the weeds” of accounting. You will work closely with the CFO to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial close processes.What You’ll DoSupport month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedulesAssist in preparing financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecastsMaintain and reconcile the general ledger, AP/AR, and revenue‑related accounting in accordance with GAAPAnalyze variances and provide insights to support operational and financial decision‑makingAssist with audit preparation and documentation for external auditorsSupport tax and compliance filings, including sales tax, in coordination with the CFOHelp maintain internal controls and improve accounting processesCollaborate cross‑functionally to ensure financial accuracy and operational alignmentWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting strongly preferredApproximately 5 years of accounting experience (public or industry)Strong experience supporting financial close and reporting processesExpert‑level Excel and QuickBooks skills are requiredSolid understanding of GAAP and financial reportingExperience in a mid‑sized, hands‑on, or services‑based environment preferred (consulting/IT a plus)Extremely detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment
