Immigration Paralegal - Silicon Path Law Bellevue, WA (Hybrid - 2 days/week in office)About the RoleWe are a fast-growing immigration law practice specializing in EB-1A extraordinary ability petitions. Our team works on behalf of highly accomplished professionals — researchers, engineers, scientists, and artists — helping them secure permanent residency in the United States.We are seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to take on a substantive role in case preparation, client communication, and petition quality. In this role, you will manage EB-1A cases with moderate independence, contribute to RFE/NOID strategy, and collaborate closely with attorneys and senior team members to deliver high-quality, timely work.Key ResponsibilitiesPetition Drafting & Case ManagementDraft, review, and revise EB-1A petition packages, including narratives, cover letters, and supporting documentationAnalyze case materials for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with USCIS evidentiary standardsConduct salary analysis and compensation benchmarking to support extraordinary ability claimsManage a caseload of petitions, tracking deadlines and ensuring timely filingsCoordinate with clients to gather documentation and guide them through the petition processRFE/NOID SupportAnalyze Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs) and contribute to response strategyDraft RFE/NOID response packages with attorney and senior paralegal inputTrack deadlines and ensure timely, organized submissionsApply prior case knowledge and templates to strengthen responsesLetters of Recommendation (LOR)Review and edit draft letters of recommendation for clarity, consistency, and strategic alignmentWork directly with clients and recommenders to refine letters as neededEnsure LORs meet USCIS standards and support overall petition strengthClient CommunicationServe as a primary point of contact for assigned clients on routine and moderately complex mattersLead or participate in client calls to collect information and provide updatesMaintain clear, professional, and responsive communication throughout the case lifecycleQuality & CollaborationPerform peer review of select petition components and provide constructive feedbackIdentify common issues in case preparation and suggest process improvementsCollaborate with senior paralegals and attorneys on complex or high-stakes casesParticipate in team meetings, stand-ups, and knowledge-sharing initiativesCase Management & AdministrationMaintain accurate and organized case files in the firm’s case management systemMonitor deadlines and proactively flag risks or delaysCommunicate effectively via Slack, email, and other remote toolsQualificationsRequired2–4 years of experience in immigration law, with exposure to employment-based petitions (EB-1A, O-1, NIW, or similar)Strong drafting skills with the ability to produce clear, persuasive legal documentsExperience supporting or contributing to RFE/NOID responsesAbility to manage multiple cases independently with strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including client interactionProficiency with case management tools (Asana or similar) and remote work environmentsPreferredFamiliarity with USCIS evidentiary standards for extraordinary ability petitionsExperience reviewing or providing feedback on others’ workExperience conducting salary or compensation analysisBachelor’s degree in a relevant field; paralegal certificate a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceOpportunity to take ownership of cases while continuing to develop advanced skillsCollaborative, supportive team environment with clear growth pathwaysExposure to complex, high-impact EB-1A cases and a global client base
