School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Oakland, Oregon

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a vibrant school setting located in Oakland, OR. This contract position offers a full-time role with a caseload of approximately 50 students, focusing on delivering essential speech and language services to help young learners succeed academically and socially.Position Details:Location: Oakland, ORContract Duration: January 5, 2026 - June 12, 2026Hours per week: 40Caseload: Approximately 50 studentsStudent Population: Kindergarten through 12th gradeNumber of Openings: 1Clinical Fellows Encouraged: Yes, clinical fellows are welcomed and supportedKey Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address speech-language needs.Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.Maintain accurate records and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of diverse student populations.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Valid SLP certification/licensure appropriate for school settings.Experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred.Strong caseload management skills and the ability to tailor services for a variety of speech and language challenges.Comfort working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Open to clinical fellows-mentorship and development are priorities.This position offers an engaging environment focused on student growth and professional development.
