Job DescriptionNight Shift Production Supervisor - Erlanger, KYADM Nutrition | This is a full time, exempt positionSchedule* Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM* Some weekends and additional hours may be required, as neededPosition SummaryAs a Night Shift Production Supervisor, you will coordinate all manufacturing activities required to meet our company's manufacturing, customer service, financial, and safety objectives.Position ResponsibilitiesProvide managerial, technical, and training leadership and support across all manufacturing unitsEnsure all shift activities are conducted in accordance with company safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines (USDA, Kosher, etc.)Promote safety, sanitation, and organization on a daily basisMaintain a thorough understanding of the operation and flow of all processes and equipment across all departments, including the AS400Prioritize and schedule all shift activities and resources to meet the daily production schedule, supporting strong customer service outcomes and productivityProvide daily follow-up for all manufacturing units on orders scheduled for shipmentSchedule and ensure training for all Operators as neededTrack adherence to all personnel policies and departmental procedures, take appropriate action to address deviations, and complete annual performance reviews for direct reportsSupport Inventory Record Accuracy across the Operations departmentInvestigate root causes and develop corrective action plans for quality, yield, and other departmental deviationsEnsure ISO 9001 and HACCP procedures are followed by all direct reportsCommunicate, foster, and expand continuous improvement and teamwork initiatives throughout the Operations groupCommunicate all night shift concerns related to manufacturing, quality, safety, and personnel deviations to Department Team Leaders or the Operations DirectorTake a lead role in any emergency or security situations that occur while on dutyMonitor all areas of the facility for safety or security concernsContribute to team efforts by performing other duties and assignments as neededPosition QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferredAt least 2 years of supervisory experiencePrior experience in food, flavor, chemical, or similar manufacturing environmentsExperience in drying, reaction, or compounding operations preferredDemonstrated ability to lead teams and drive resultsSelf-directed approach to continuous improvementProficiency in data entry and navigating Microsoft Excel spreadsheetsAbility to build and deliver presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint (preferred)Familiarity with Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration platforms (preferred)Excited about this role but don't think you meet every requirement listed?
