Technical Program Manager, Release

In the face of complex technical and operational challenges with no established playbooks to follow, we act with thoughtful urgency, driving conversations, discussions, and outcomes. Our team partners closely with every function of Waymo to structure, own and drive work towards real-world deployments of the Waymo Driver across platforms and geographies.In this role, you will report to a Lead TPM, Release ManagementYou will:Ensure release tasks are followed and on trackCommunicate and facilitate resolution of potential issues as we become aware of themContinuously improve processes to ensure more efficient releasesYou have:2+ years of experience with managing software releases2+ years of experience managing technical projectsBachelor's DegreeExperience working within the context of Software Development LifecycleGood understanding of system architecture and design principlesQuality Assurance, validating quality of softwareDemonstrated ability to interpret and analyze source code for understanding system behavior and requirementsWe prefer:Technical Program Management experienceKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and workflowsExpertise in computer programmingUnderstanding and ability to perform as a Release Engineer((Remote jobs only - Please note that Waymo may not be able to employ remotely in all locations. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Salary Range $196,000—$248,000 USD
