Job Summary The Loader / Unloader is responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, and moving freight, materials, and products within warehouse and transportation environments. This position plays a vital role in ensuring shipments are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently. Responsibilities * Load and unload freight, packages, and materials from trucks and trailers. * Verify shipment quantities and inspect items for damage. * Organize and stage products for shipping, receiving, or storage. * Move materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment and safe handling techniques. * Assist with sorting and labeling shipments. * Maintain accurate records of loaded and unloaded materials as required. * Follow company procedures for handling freight and inventory. * Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. * Work closely with warehouse and transportation teams to meet operational goals. * Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs or more. * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. * Basic communication skills. * Willingness to learn and adapt to operational needs.
