Mechanical Engineer
About Us
SemiValley is developing next generation thermal management technologies for high performance computing and AI infrastructure. We work at the intersection of mechanical engineering, heat transfer, fluid systems, manufacturing, and product development to solve challenging engineering problems for tomorrow's computing platforms.
We're a small, fast-moving team where engineers take ownership across design, prototyping, testing, and product development.
What You'll Do
Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and test fixtures for advanced thermal and fluid systems.
Create detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation for prototype and production hardware.
Work closely with electrical, thermal, and systems engineers to integrate mechanical designs into complete products.
Build, assemble, and troubleshoot laboratory prototypes and experimental test platforms.
Support mechanical validation, reliability testing, and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with manufacturing partners to optimize designs for machining, additive manufacturing, sheet metal, and production assembly.
Specify mechanical components including fittings, tubing, pumps, valves, sensors, fasteners, and structural hardware.
Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design reviews.
Drive continuous improvements in performance, manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
Participate in supplier selection, prototype sourcing, and engineering documentation.
