Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Platform

OverviewWe’re partnering with a high‑growth, category‑leading enterprise technology company that is transforming how scientific and technical organisations manage, operationalise, and derive value from complex data.The company is building next‑generation, cloud‑native data and AI platforms used by global enterprise customers and is widely recognised as a leader within its space, working closely with major cloud, data, and AI infrastructure providers.This is an opportunity to join a technically strong, product‑led team working at scale on mission‑critical platforms.What You’ll DoCollaborate closely with product and engineering teams across the full software lifecycle, from design and build through deployment and operationsWork directly with customers to deploy, integrate, and troubleshoot the platform within their AWS environmentsBuild and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using tools such as CloudFormation and TerraformDevelop automation tooling using Python and supporting frameworks to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiencyDesign and maintain monitoring, alerting, and self‑healing systems ahead of production releasesOwn and operate internal AWS environments, ensuring performance, security, and cost optimisationPartner with solution architects during customer discussions to support technical integration and deployment questionsMaintain clear, up‑to‑date documentation covering deployments, processes, and best practicesWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar roleStrong hands‑on experience with AWS (certification preferred)Proficiency in Python (preferred) or another backend language such as Java or GoDeep experience with infrastructure‑as‑code, ideally using CloudFormationExperience supporting AI‑enabled platforms, including ML or LLM‑driven systemsStrong background in cloud‑native architectures, automation, and infrastructure provisioningExperience building and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, AWS CodeDeploy)Familiarity with microservices, containers, and orchestration tools such as Docker and KubernetesSolid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and cloud security best practicesStrong communication skills and experience working directly with customersBenefits & PerksFully employer‑paid health benefits for employees and dependentsUnlimited paid time off401(k) planFlexible working model (remote‑first with office access as needed)Company‑paid life insurance and long‑term / short‑term disabilityUS Citizens or Green Card Holders only.
