Audit Manager
We are seeking an Audit Manager to oversee audit engagements for government agencies, nonprofits, grant-funded organizations, and government contractors. This role will lead client relationships, supervise engagement teams, and drive quality across a variety of assurance and compliance projects.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple audit engagements from planning through issuance.
Oversee financial statement audits, Single Audits, and compliance engagements.
Review audit workpapers, reports, and financial statements.
Lead risk assessments and internal control evaluations.
Serve as primary client contact throughout engagements.
Manage budgets, staffing, and project timelines.
Mentor seniors and staff accountants.
Assist with business development and proposal support.
Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Active CPA license required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
6+ years of public accounting audit experience.
2+ years of audit leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong experience in one or more of the following:
Government auditing
Single Audits
Yellow Book/GAGAS audits
Nonprofit audits
Government contractor audits
Internal controls and compliance testing
Preferred Qualifications
Uniform Guidance expertise
A-123 reviews
SOX 404 testing
COSO framework experience
Grant compliance audits
Audit readiness and remediation projects
Salary Range: $120k -$160
