As a Joint Commission–accredited leader in healthcare staffing, we ensure trust and peace of mind for both our clinicians and partner facilities.Job Summary:Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Urgent Care provides direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, assisting with assessment, treatment, and coordination of care for patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries. Responsible for supporting providers, performing clinical procedures, and ensuring efficient patient flow and quality care.Roles & Responsibilities:Obtain patient history, vital signs, and perform basic assessmentsAssist providers during examinations and minor proceduresAdminister medications, injections, vaccines, and treatments as prescribedPerform specimen collection, EKGs, wound care, and other clinical proceduresMonitor patient conditions and report changes to providersDocument patient information accurately in EMR/EHR systemsEducate patients on medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up careMaintain infection control and patient safety standardsSupport triage, patient flow, and urgent care operationsCollaborate with physicians, RNs, and healthcare staff to deliver quality careRequired Qualifications:Active LPN license of NY.BLS required.Minimum 2 year of experienceAbout MedCadreAt MedCadre, headquartered in Irvine, California and serving healthcare organizations nationwide, we connect exceptional clinicians with world-class career opportunities while upholding the highest standards of ethics, fairness, and integrity.
