Summer Technology Student Worker

Description: Mahomet-Seymour CUSD #3 is seeking a dependable Summer Technology Worker to assist the IT Department with preparing district devices, equipment, and technology systems for the upcoming school year. This temporary position will support various technology projects across district buildings during the summer months. Incoming seniors only. This position will work from June 1st - August 7th; summer hours 8:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.Job ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and analyze hardware including but not limited to:Windows 10 & 11 LaptopsWindows 10 & 11 DesktopsChromebooks and Chromeboxes (All devices running Chrome OS)iPad's/iPhonesPrinters, Projectors, Document Cameras and SmartBoardsWireless Access Points (general troubleshooting)Network Devices (general troubleshooting) L2 and L3 SwitchingLoad, upgrade, and maintain various software application suites on computersAdd, remove, and modify staff and student network accounts as necessary (Active Directory)Maintain accurate hardware, software and A/V equipment inventories for each school buildingProvide quick, efficient, courteous end-user support and answer helpdesk tickets on software, hardware, and A/V equipmentPerform other duties and troubleshooting as assigned by the Director of TechnologyOther RequirementsMust be well organized, self-motivated, and handle confidential information appropriatelyGood interpersonal and written communications skills requiredRequired to service multiple locations within district on a daily basis, as a result, personal transportation is required.Salary: $15 per hourApply Procedure: Apply online at www.mahometseymour.org (District Information/Employment)For More Information ContactKyle Williams, Director of TechnologyPhone: (217) 586-2161Email: kwilliams@mscusd.org
