Through its innovative model, H.U.G. provides one-on-one reading mentorship led by Certified Reading Mentors, supported by digital tools and structured curriculum alignment.By partnering with schools, universities, and community organizations, H.U.G. delivers consistent, measurable impact—helping students improve reading proficiency, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning. For more information, please contact: directorhr@hugreading.orgRole Description• Oversee daily program operations• Build partnerships with schools• Manage and support tutoring services• Recruit and lead staff and volunteers• Track program outcomes and impact• Manage budget and resources• Travel to program sites to support staff and ensure quality delivery• Support outreach efforts and community engagement initiativesQualifications• Background in Education, Nonprofit Management, or related field• Valid Teachers License• 3–5+ years of relevant experience• Strong leadership and organizational skills• Ability to travel and build community partnerships• Passion for literacy and student success
