Join us.Senior Associate, Affiliate Product Strategy and Development (Analytics) The Role: AMG is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Affiliate Product Strategy and Development (APS) team. This position will be based in Stamford, Connecticut and will report to the Vice President, APS. The Senior Associate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the firm’s investment databases, processes, and systems for gathering, analyzing, and reporting product, affiliate, and industry data. This role supports and is a central resource within APS and cross-functionally, including Client Solutions and Platform & Operations.Core Responsibilities:Collaborate with APS team to help build/enhance databases, processes, and deliverablesWork with large volumes of product and industry data for an evolving set of investment vehicles, including alternative investments, mutual funds, and separate accounts (SMA)Process, calculate, and maintain, accurate and current investment, product, and industry data (e.g., performance, assets, flows, fees, holdings, and characteristics)Create and distribute reports, and data extracts with daily, monthly, and quarterly product informationVerify the accuracy of product and investment data and reports in various deliverables (e.g., prospectuses, annual reports, website pages, Marketing presentations, third party vendor databases, etc.)Provide analytical support and respond to ad-hoc requests for investment, industry, affiliate, and portfolio-related data and researchBecome proficient in the use of internal databases and third-party systems, including Factset, Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, eVestment, and PreqinQualifications:Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Data Management or a related field1-2 years professional work or internship experience involving investment/asset managementExperience within alternative investments, mutual funds, and/or SMAs, strongly preferredStrong aptitude and dexterity with Excel and its advanced functions requiredDynamic formulas, a plus (i.e., xlookups, formulas instead of fixed ranges or hard-coded data, etc.)Familiarity with AI tools, SQL, PowerPoint, and Tableau, a plusAttributes:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented and can handle several tasks simultaneously; effectively manage time to meet deadlinesHighly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and within a teamPro-active team player with strong work ethic, collaborative attitude, and professional demeanorStrong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills in both in-office and remote settingsAbility to exercise discretion and maintain confidentialitySupports AMG values and treats others with respect and considerationBenefits:Robust and competitive benefits package, including comprehensive health and dental plans, 401(k) employer matching contribution, professional development program, employee referral program, annual philanthropic gift-matching, and hybrid work schedule.About AMG Funds LLC:AMG’s Wealth platform provides access to certain of AMG’s partner firms, which include leading independent investment management firms.
