Sales Growth Manager – In-Home Window Sales
Location: Draper, Utah
Compensation: Commission + Performance Bonuses
Reports To: Owner / Senior Sales Leader
Role Overview
The Sales Growth Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue through one-visit closes in a high-volume, in-home window sales environment. This leader ensures every appointment is run with intention, structure, and urgency—driving decision-making in the home while maintaining professionalism and trust.
This role is for a proven sales leader who knows how to control the sale, eliminate stalls, and coach reps to confidently close on the first visit.
Core Responsibilities: One-Visit Close Execution (Non-Negotiable)
Enforce a one-visit close sales model across the team
Eliminate “think about it,” “call you later,” and unnecessary rehashes
Coach reps to:
Set expectations before arrival
Gain full decision-maker presence
Create urgency without pressure
Confidently ask for the sale—every appointment
Audit appointments to ensure proper close attempts were made
Revenue & Metrics Ownership
Own KPIs directly tied to one-visit performance:
Close rate per appointment
Revenue per appointment
Same-day close percentage
Financing usage and approval rate
Diagnose why deals are not closing the same day and correct immediately
Protect margin while increasing ticket size through packaging and anchoring
Sales Team Leadership & Coaching
Conduct consistent ride-alongs focused on:
Control of the in-home environment
Discovery that leads to emotional buy-in
Transitioning from education to decision
Clean, confident closes
Run weekly role-plays centered on:
“Spouse not home.”
“Price too high.”
“Need to think.”
“Want to get other quotes.”
Hold reps accountable for attempting the close on every appointment
Process, Discipline & Accountability
Build and enforce a repeatable one-visit sales framework
Require pre-appointment confirmation, ensuring:
All decision-makers are present
Time commitment is set
Budget expectations are aligned
Implement scorecards and accountability meetings
Address weak performance quickly with coaching or corrective action
Cross-Team Alignment
Partner with marketing to improve appointment quality and homeowner readiness
Work with operations to ensure sold jobs install cleanly (reducing buyer’s remorse)
Reduce cancellations by ensuring confidence and clarity at the point of sale
Qualifications
Required
2+ years of in-home window sales experience
Documented success in a one-visit close environment
2+ years leading, coaching, or managing sales reps
Strong command of objection handling and price anchoring
Comfortable being direct, firm, and fair
Preferred
Experience running ride-along-driven sales teams
Background in high-ticket, commission-based sales cultures
Proven ability to turn average reps into closers
