Our work is performed by our professional staff, scientists and engineers at remote sites, embedded in client office space or our own facilities. EOC delivers quality engineering, environmental, and construction management services at competitive prices.In the role of Construction Manager II, we'll count on you to:Take responsibility for subcontractor coordination, scheduling and quality controlPrepare Project Management Plan(s) and Construction Management Plan(s)Develop procedures for executing construction contract administration such as activities including document, change, time, cost, quality and safety management, and implement procedures in coordination with the project teamPerform additional construction management activities, including development of procurement - construction schedules, construction subcontract scopes, review of subcontract terms and conditions, performance of constructability and value engineering reviews, construction estimating and schedule reviews, and project construction performance presentationsAdminister and manage construction activitiesMonitor progress of the overall design as related to construction requirementsPerform value engineering and constructability reviewsCoordinate local bidding efforts for quotes obtained in the fieldAssist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packagesReview or coordinate review of construction submittals including shop drawings and pay applicationsPrepare, issue and negotiate Change OrdersReview and analyze baseline and updated construction schedulesControl the project budget and scheduleCoordinate and manage project quality assurance and control, and inspection servicesEnsure subcontractor compliance with the Health and Safety Program through communication and inspectionsPrepare and update project schedules, pay requests, and daily, weekly, and monthly progress, budget, and schedule managementPerform other duties as needed Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE)Registered Architect (RA)Certified Construction Manager (CCM)Experience with estimating software, scheduling software, project management software and web-based collaboration software for the exchange of documentsKnowledge of Department of War Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)Knowledge of Department of Army and Air Force Technical StandardsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including but not limited to construction contracts; document, time, cost, and quality management; change management; and site safety. estimating, bidding, preparing and administering purchase orders and subcontracts, scheduling, cost control, etc. Experience with Microsoft Office Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc. Must have strong people skills and the ability to interact with the Owner, Engineer, Contractor and other project stakeholders An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustSponsorship (visa) for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.What We BelieveHDR is our company.
