Senior C# Developer – Leading Hedge Fund – Discrete Search – up to $500k TC

My client, a leading hedge fund, is seeking a .NET / C# Engineer to join a core technology team supporting trading and control functions.This role sits within a business-facing engineering group responsible for building and enhancing systems that underpin critical workflows across trading, risk, and regulatory processes. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that improve transparency, efficiency, and control across the platform.The position offers strong ownership across the full development lifecycle, within a collaborative environment where engineers are closely aligned with the business.Responsibilities:Design and develop backend systems using .NET and C# with a focus on scalability and reliabilityBuild and enhance applications that support core trading and operational workflowsIntegrate external tools and data sources into internal platformsContribute to system architecture and help drive improvements in performance and maintainabilityWork closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutionsImprove and maintain deployment processes, including automation and release workflowsSupport live systems and troubleshoot issues as they ariseCollaborate with team members through code reviews and design discussionsRequirements:Strong experience developing applications in C# / .NETSolid understanding of software engineering principles and system designExperience working with build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD)Ability to work in a business-facing environment and translate requirements into technical solutionsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailInterest in financial systems or trading environmentsExposure to regulatory, risk, or operational workflows is a plusGood communication skills and a collaborative mindsetMy client offers a highly competitive compensation package, alongside strong benefits and the opportunity to work in a high-performance environment with direct impact on critical business systems.To apply, either respond to this advert or send your CV directly to sasha.duquesne@mondrian-alpha.com
