Technician / Technologist Location: Carmel, NY Agency: Pride Health Pay: $32 to $38 per hour Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Now Hiring: Pulmonary Function Technologist – Carmel, NY Full-Time | Competitive Pay | 6 Months Contract to Hire High Chances of Securing a Permanent Placement after the Contract ends Location: Carmel, NY, 10512 Type : Multi-Specialty Center Scheduled: 8 Hours in a Day , 5 Days in a week Shift: 8:30-5:00 (Monday-Friday), no weekends Hourly compensation: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to local labor markets. We are open to negotiating compensation based on education, work experience, and certifications. We are complying with all applicable minimum wage laws. Job Summary: Conduct pulmonary function tests. Analyze, interpret, and validate test data before submission to physician. Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment. Record and report results for physician interpretation. Oversee lab quality assurance and safety protocols. Train, mentor, and supervise CPFTs or other staff. Assist physicians in diagnosing and managing complex respiratory conditions. Participate in research, protocol development, and clinical trials.
