Travel Certified Surgical Technologist

Job Title: Travel Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505 Duration: 13 weeks Shift/Schedule: Night Shift 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM Pay Rate: $40.00/hourJob Responsibilities:Serve as an integral member of the surgical team supporting surgeons during operative proceduresPrepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and suppliesMaintain a sterile field throughout surgical proceduresAnticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments and supplies efficientlyEnsure proper handling, sterilization, and cleaning of surgical instruments and equipmentAdhere to aseptic technique and infection control policies at all timesAssist with room setup and turnover between casesComply with hospital safety policies including Universal Precautions and Right-to-Know standardsUtilize appropriate personal protective equipment when exposure risk is presentRequirements:Experience:Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital operating room or instrument care environment preferredTrauma experience requiredEducation:High school diploma or equivalent RequiredGraduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program PreferredCertifications & Licenses:BLS certification (AHA only) RequiredCertified Surgical Technologist (CST) RequiredPreferences:Prior trauma OR experienceStrong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization processesAbility to work night shifts, weekends, and on-call as required
