Life Sciences R&D Technology Consulting Manager

You've got the know-how to help our biopharmaceutical and/ or biotechnoloy clients design, build and deploy solutions to help them get the right therapies to patients faster. You get a sense of quiet satisfaction from using your analytical talents to solve problems in new and creative ways. Plus, you always find a way to explain those ideas, thanks to above average communications and interpersonal skills.The Work (Role Responsibility):* Help clients, and other organizations in the broader healthcare ecosystem, get the right therapies to patients faster* Assess and improve R&D processes and their underlying technology platforms* Provide R&D technology subject matter expertise in areas such as EDC, CDMS, RIM, etc* Advise clients on how they can shape the next generation of technology capabilities to become data-driven, AI enabled organizations* Typical projects consist of definition of a IT roadmap, assessment of current technology footprint and/ or design and implementation of R&D systems to achieve a desired future state.* Build relationships with client stakeholders that help Accenture become a trusted partner* Coach junior team members* Spot and pursue business development opportunities* Develop Accenture's thought leadership in sales, marketing, and customer experienceQualificationHere's What You Need:* At least five years of experience in technology consulting and the life sciences R&D industry in at least one of the following areas: research, clinical development, pharmacovigilance, regulatory, medical affairs, MD&D (medical device and diagnostics), EBP (evidence based practice), medtech, or related areas such as CRO's, health institutions, health technology companies, etc.* Minimum 3 years of experience leading, consulting for or supporting R&D technology programs for biopharma/ biotech.* A Bachelor's degreeBonus Points If (Preferred Skills):* Your Bachelor's degree has a major in science or health engineering* You have a deep understanding of biopharmaceutical R&D and product lifecycle processes and technologies* You have experience working with and/or leading teams, clients and vendors using your exceptional team building, mentoring, people development and management skills* You have experience working with Life Sciences R&D professionals applying excellent client-facing communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills* You work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, and apply structure to your problem solvingCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
