Housekeeper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met. Carry out floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Follow established procedures for cleaning rooms and areas in accordance with company policies. Provide excellent hospitality by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their comfort during their stay. Assist in the training of new housekeeping staff as needed. Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are upheld. Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles; hotel or hospitality experience is preferred. Familiarity with janitorial or industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Previous experience in housekeeping management is an advantage but not mandatory.
