Responsible for storing materials, picking, packing, and tracking inventory. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for auditsKeep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilizationComplete diary logs into inventoryReport any discrepanciesCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersOperate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipmentFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulationsGood organizational and time management skillsAbility to lift heavy objectsCOMPETENCIESFundamental understanding of inventory control and materials handling. Prior forklift experience or the ability to become certified. Skilled in reading comprehension, writing, and basic math knowledge.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in an office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
