Case Management Attorney (Mass Torts)

Position: Case Management Attorney (Mass Torts)Company Full-service toxic tort, pharmaceutical, and catastrophic injury litigation firm with offices in Texas, New York, and California which practices in the areas of asbestos litigation and other toxic exposures, products liability, general pharmaceutical, opioid litigation, and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases.Position Overview The qualified applicant will grow and manage multiple mass tort dockets, help lead our case management team, inspire forward thinking to drive strategic initiatives and manage mass tort claims from inception to resolution.Responsibilities: Oversee lifecycle of mass tort cases; Promote a positive team culture by mentoring and encouraging any junior attorneys and support staff and fostering a sense of ownership and accountability; Collaborate with leadership to establish and/or implement case strategies or identify processes in need of enhancement; and Conduct legal research to support case or practice area development.Qualifications: 3+ years of litigation experience from a medium to large size firm in the field of plaintiffs' mass torts required Experience managing a staff of paralegals and/or legal assistants (required Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills; Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task; Learns quickly and functions in a fast-paced environment; Creative problem-solver, takes the initiative, and can accomplish tasks with minimal supervision; A team player with a great attitude; Proficient with a variety of computer applications and internet programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, LexisXpress File & Serve, LexisAdvance or Lexis.com (research), ECF/Pacer, Needles/Neos (client database).Job Type/Schedule:Full Time; In-office/no hybrid offered; 8hr/dayBy applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
