Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, tankers, and other various types of commercial vehicles.Key Job ResponsibilitiesPerform annual and FHWA inspections on commercial vehiclesMaintain a clean and safe work area while assisting other mechanics with assigned tasksUse computers and diagnostic software to complete inspections and repairsFollow directions, accurately complete all required paperwork, and perform other assigned dutiesDo you have what it takes?1 + years of experience with heavy duty trucks and equipmentMust have a basic set of toolsMust be able to work in elevated and difficult positions and be mobile throughout the plant.What's in for you?
