Turf Star Western is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our service department team and deliver an exceptional experience for our customers and their equipment.What You'll DoYou'll be the driving force behind our service department — managing technicians, shop foremen, service writers, and drivers across multiple locations. From daily stand-ups to long-range planning, your leadership keeps the shop efficient, the customers happy, and the equipment field-ready.Your key areas of ownership include:Leading & developing your team — recruiting, training, certifying, and evaluating technicians while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvementScheduling & workflow — optimizing repair schedules, driver routes, and field tech assignments across all service locationsQuality control — ensuring every repair and new equipment setup meets Toro PDI standards and leaves the shop right the first timeWarranty management — overseeing Toro PRW, allied warranty processing, reconciliations, and RGA submissionsCustomer relationships — serving as a trusted point of contact for warranty and repair issues, with on-site visits when neededBusiness performance — tracking labor productivity, profitability, and billing accuracy using SX.e, SWES, and internal reporting toolsCross-functional collaboration — partnering with sales on demos, ride-alongs, and customer site visits; supporting company-wide service initiativesWhat We're Looking ForManagement experience required5+ years of experience as a service technicianPrior service management experience strongly preferredSpecialized training in gas/diesel maintenance and repairStrong computer skills; experience with business systems a plusA natural leader who communicates clearly, solves problems quickly, and holds high standardsAbility to lift 50–75 lbs and be on your feet for at least 50% of the workdayThis job is based in the Brea, CA home office.Why Join Turf Star Western?At Turf Star Western, we're proud to be the premier distributor of Toro commercial turf equipment in the West.
