Family Physician
About the RoleWe are seeking a Family Physician to provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care in Northern Florida. This role focuses on comprehensive care for patients across the lifespan-preventive services, acute visits, and chronic disease management-while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to improve outcomes and patient experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide full-scope family medicine care to patients of all ages (pediatrics through geriatrics)Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries; manage chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, COPD, asthma)Deliver preventive care, wellness visits, screenings, immunizations, and health educationPerform or oversee common in-office procedures (based on training and comfort level), such as:Suturing/laceration repairSkin biopsies and lesion removalJoint injectionsI&D, EKG interpretation, and basic splintingCoordinate care with specialists and community resources; ensure smooth referrals and follow-upMaintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR and comply with regulatory and quality standardsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and team-based care planningProvide compassionate counseling on lifestyle, behavioral health, and preventive strategiesQualificationsMD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited Family Medicine residencyBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Family MedicineEligible for Florida medical licensure and DEA certificationStrong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered careComfortable working in a collaborative, team-based modelPreferred (Nice to Have)Experience in outpatient primary care, value-based care, or population healthComfort with pediatric care and women's health (based on practice scope)Experience supervising APPs (NP/PA) or working with interdisciplinary teamsSpanish proficiency or experience serving diverse patient populations (varies by community)Work Environment & ScheduleOutpatient clinic setting (typical weekday schedule; limited call depending on clinic model)Support from care teams that may include APPs, nurses, MAs, behavioral health, care coordinators, and referral specialistsAccess to in-house labs/imaging depending on siteCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary + productivity/quality incentivesMedical, dental, vision, and retirement plansAbout Flexzo AIFlexzo AI is a specialist healthcare talent partner dedicated to connecting exceptional clinicians with forward-thinking and independent healthcare services across the US.
